Death’s Last Hand
Is love truly stronger than death?
When a woman refuses to die and leave the man she loves, a cadre of Reapers, Death’s Emissaries, find themselves trapped on earth, bound to ground, while she tries to get back to her lover. But the Reapers and the woman soon learn they are pawns in a much larger game as an ancient creature schemes to sever the connection between Life and Death.
As human beings stop dying, the Reapers discover they have only three days to save the world. And themselves. Should they lose the battle, the Emissaries face non-existence, a living death—leaving mankind to a hell on earth where no one ever dies.
At Death’s Door
Paladin finds his good deed has gotten him into trouble, despite doing a favor for his boss. Death has all but disavowed him, allowing him to be punished by Death’s Warden.
But as his brothers come to his rescue, he learns that all is not what it seems. Death needs yet another favor, one he can’t openly ask for. The demon has been vanquished back to his domain, but now Death wants his outlaw band to follow the Demon to his lair. In Book 2, the Reapers have to find a way be At Death’s Door.
Beyond Death’s Reach
After a fight for their powers, and a supernatural heist, the emissaries, along with their human allies, bridge the gap between earth and Hell to get to the Demon’s Gate. Their mission is to rescue three million stolen souls. People who had their lives, and their transitions, stolen by the demon, Apocalypse.
But the Reapers have no power in the demon’s domain, so it’s up to the humans to pick up the slack created when the Emissaries are Beyond Death’s Reach.
